Ciao! Welcome to Florence and Tuscany!
My name is Monica and I’ve been a licensed local guide in Florence and Siena (and surroundings) since 2004.
I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. After my Bachelor Degree in History at the University of Stockholm I started traveling around Europe for a couple of years until I felt at home coming to Florence in 1993. In Italy I continued my studies to become an interpreter and a translator, but I quickly realized it was not my cup of tea. When at this point I got the chance to become a tour guide I knew it was the right job for me and here I am!
